REBATES
Private Health Fund
Most private health funds provide rebates for the dietitian consultations within my programs. The rebate will depend on your level of cover. Please contact your private health fund to see what rebate you are entitled to. No referral is required if claiming under private health cover.
Medicare
If you have a chronic condition (e.g. Diabetes, Insulin Resistance, PCOS, Hypertension, High Cholesterol, IBS and more) your GP may choose to refer you through an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Plan for up to 5 dietitian consultations per calendar year. If this is the case, you will be entitled to a Medicare rebate of $56 per consultation within the program. This equates to a total rebate of $280 if all 5 consultations are claimed. Discuss your eligibility for this referral with your doctor.
