Hi, I'm Jorja, Accredited Dietitian & Nutritionist
I have always loved food, but my interest in nutrition was initially sparked while representing Australia in water polo in my youth and realising the profound link between food and sporting performance. My focus then shifted towards a career in nutrition & dietetics.
After some health issues of my own early on in my degree, I developed a deeper appreciation for the role of medical nutrition therapy and have since found my niche helping clients to achieve their personal health goals with food.
For the past 9 years I have been working 1:1 with clients in my private practice. I primarily consult across the areas of women’s health, gut health and weight loss. I have particular expertise in helping people with stubborn hormonal weight due to insulin resistance, PCOS and menopause.
Importantly, I combine my knowledge with a real world practical outlook. The ultra-busy lifestyle we lead doesn’t leave a lot of time left to spend hours in the kitchen. For this reason, meals that are super quick, really tasty and easy to prepare play a large role in my approach.
My love of food, of course extends to cheese, wine and chocolate. I subscribe to the principles of moderation and believe as long as you have a strong dietary foundation then nothing should be off limits.
